Antichrist is not Christian folklore.

It's not mythology.

The antichrist is real.

What does the Catholic Church teach about
that and what do I think about the charge

that the Pope is the is the antichrist.

I'm gonna cover that
for you just a second.

I'm just gonna go through some
main points about what the church

teaches about the Antichrist,
'cause it's a very dense topic.

I know you don't like to be bored, so
I'm gonna try and keep this pretty tight.

First I'm gonna tell
you what the catechism.

Says before Christ's second
coming, the church must pass

through a final trial that will
shake the faith of many believers.

Basically, the Antichrist will lead to
a final conflict between good and evil,

between Christ's church and the Antichrist
Christians, and those who follow and are

fooled by the antichrist, which in my
opinion is gonna be very, very, very many.

And I'll tell you at the end of this
video, I'll tell you why I think that.

, A couple of points about the antichrist.

First is the catechism states.

We still believe the antichrist is coming.

Scripture mentions antichrist
or antichrist, lowercase.

A plural, though it mentions
antichrist like many ones.

There is a main one, right?

Who's yet to come just
before the second coming.

Inaugurating a final battle between
good and evil according to tradition.

And, , some of the thought, some thoughts
by the church fathers, the antichrist

will probably be able to perform miracles.

That's one of the ways he's
going to fool a lot of people.

The antichrist may be a religious,
I'm sorry, a political figure.

, And he's going to elevate
himself above the church , and

practically equate himself with God.

It's one of the ways he's
gonna fool many people.

Now, let me tell you what I think.

I think the foundation is, is
the antichrist here Now, I don't

know, but I do strongly, strongly
believe that the foundation for

the antichrist is already set.

Because even now, people can't
discern a truth from a lie.

Even now, they can't do that even now,
they believe things that are so fantastic.

It's unbelievable.

There's 137 genders, , marriage
is whatever you want it to be,

and so on and so on, and so on.

Um, basic, basic things that are
really, really obvious and in your face.

One plus one is two.

That's pretty basic when you discern
that one plus one equals 11 because

when you put two ones next to each
other, it looks like the number 11.

There is a problem when people
can't discern truth from a lie.

Even basic ones, they're going
to be very, very easy to fool.

Catholics, you may think
you are immune to this.

The church teaches many believers.

That means Christians,
but you're among them.

Many believers will be fooled.

My opinion, many Catholics will
be fooled by the antichrist.

Even the most devout, many, well,
I don't wanna say many devout, but

quite a few devout Catholics are
going to be fooled by the antichrist

too, because even in the church,
many Catholics have grown disabled.

They've become disabled in
discerning a truth from a lie.

Pope Francis is not a real pope.

Okay?

Antichrist won't fool you.

Nope, you're good.

Alright, so that's what
the church teaches.

I do believe the foundation
is set for the antichrist.

I'm not saying he's here now.

I'm also not saying he's not.

I'm also saying it's not going
to be a hundred years from now.

It's gonna be sooner than that.

We see the antichrist.

That's my personal belief.

That is not the church's teaching.

The church has no teaching on when,
that's just my personal belief.

Okay.

, There was another point I wanted to make.

I can't remember what it
was, but lemme tell you this.

when I remember what that last

point was that I wanted to make.

Foundation.

The reason why there are Protestants
who say the Pope is the antichrist and

the church is the whore of Babylon is
because that lie is in the Protestant DNA.

It's not all Protestants who
believe that, but many do.

It's in the Protestant DNA because
, , the reformers, those who broke away

from the church and established
the Protestant denominations, , the

reformers had to spread that myth.

In order to discredit the Catholic
church because the reformers

were asking Christians to break
away from the Church of Christ.

Okay.

It was the it to be
Christian was to be Catholic.

The church was everywhere.

It was ubiquitous.

It was 1500 years old.

It's a pretty tall order
to now tell Christians.

Yeah, the Catholic church, no Bueno.

So.

That is where that myth came from.

You have to break away from the
Catholic church because it's the horror

of Babylon mentioned in Revelation.

You have to break away from the Catholic
church because the Pope is the antichrist.

Oh, well now you've
got people's attention.

So that lie is in the Protestant DNA.

It's, again, it's not all
Protestants who believe it.

Um, a lot of anti-Catholic mythology
and nonsense is in Protestant, DNA,

um, throughout Europe and especially
in the United States of America.
